Officiating and Volunteering at Swim Meets

Every swim meet depends on certified volunteers to run smoothly. Officiating is a vital role that requires training and certification in advance. All officials are trained, certified, and coordinated through Swim Ontario.

Officiating also fulfills a parent’s volunteer commitment at meets. If you're interested in becoming an official, please reach out to any Board member for more information on how to get started — our club is actively seeking new officials!

All families are required to submit a $350 volunteer fee, which is 100% refundable upon fulfilling your volunteer commitment to the club. Please note that volunteering in certain roles, such as officiating, requires proper training ahead of time.
